One week into the Master Cleanse. It’s going well. I’m not having cravings any more. I quit smoking too, which was remarkably easy by switching my focus to the ritual of juicing instead of the ritual of smoking.
Here’s something odd. My pee smells like corn chips. Yeah, really. It’s weird and I couldn’t find anything online as to why. So I’m ignoring it for now!
Now that I’m on the downswing of the cleanse, I’m looking for a diet to transition into. The low fat thing never worked for me and I usually ended up gaining weight. I did Adkins for a while and it worked but zero carbs is not really an option for me. I have been looking at keto and paleo. Both are low carb but not out of my comfort zone. I like keto because of the whole ketosis burning fat instead of insulin thing. I like paleo because it allows for a little more freedom. Still working that out, but I have at least 6 days to decide so I’m cool.
