Today I was going to go to the gym but a dear old friend called so I spent my gym time on the phone. That’s ok because I got in the pool for an hour and had my own personal aquafit class and burned a good 300 calories.
A little later in the day we went to Sam’s Club and stocked up for the keto diet. I won’t bore you with the details but we got a boatload of meat, cheese and eggs. I made scotch eggs today using Caveman Keto’s recipe. You can find the recipe here. I have been bookmarking a lot of his recipes for future use. Can’t wait to try the eggs tomorrow!
I’m still not up to my full calorie allowance. I’m nearly there, today I technically ate 1332 calories although I got 300 of them back from the swimming so I came in with a 583 calorie deficit. I’m set up to lose about a pound and a half a week. I think is a good number. Of course I’d love more but I want this to be a lifestyle change. I’m in it to win it now!
